ESET Foundation and Civitta launch the second year of the Challenger Science programme

Challenger Science offers participants an intensive three-month training under the guidance of experts in the field of entrepreneurship and technology transfer. The programme includes hands-on workshops, one-on-one coaching and the opportunity to present their projects to a wider audience. Participants will learn how to identify commercialization opportunities, build relationships with partners and customers, and obtain funding for their projects.

Applications for the program are open until June 27, 2025. The results of the selection process will be announced on 1 August 2025 and the programme itself will run from 16 September to 25 November 2025. The grand finale, where participants will present their projects, will take place on 2 December 2025.

Last year's Challenger Science programme was a great success. The winner was the PoxyMed team from the Institute of Polymers of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, which developed a technology for targeted drug delivery directly to the site of action. The winners won the main prize - a trip to the prestigious technology fair Viva Tech 2025 in Paris.
