The Pohoda Festival is more than just a music festival to us. ESET joined as the exclusive partner of the additional day featuring The Cure and as the festival’s main partner to support a space that has long fostered openness, respectful dialogue, critical thinking, and the discovery of new ideas - values that are close to our hearts too. Through the ESET Science Award program, we brought science, discussions, and inspiring figures to the festival atmosphere, helping everyone better understand the world around us.

ESET Science Award Finalists Prove that Cutting-Edge Science Is Emerging in Slovakia

Bratislava, 9 September 2025 - ESET Science Award will again this year honour scientists who bring innovation and enrich the public debate with facts and verified information. For the first time, the finalists include personalities from the social sciences and humanities. The laureates of the three categories - Outstanding Scientist in Slovakia, Outstanding Scientist in Slovakia Under the Age of 35 and Outstanding Academic in Slovakia - will be selected by an expert committee, while the first two categories will be decided by an international jury. The award ceremony will take place on 9 October 2025.
