ESET Science Talks with Nobel Laureate Serge Haroche

At a time when scientific progress is fundamentally shaping security, societal resilience, and the future of our world, it is more important than ever to discuss not only scientific breakthroughs but also the responsibility that accompanies them. ESET Science Talks will explore these themes in an interview with Nobel Prize laureate Professor Serge Haroche, whose pioneering research into the quantum world laid the foundations for technologies such as quantum computing and quantum communication.

Czech TV program Hyde Park Civilization, Professor Haroche will discuss the frontiers of scientific knowledge, how exploring the invisible microscopic world is transforming our everyday macroscopic reality, the role of science in times of uncertainty, and how scientific discoveries can help shape the future we want to build. ESET Science Talks offers a unique opportunity to reflect on science as a force that not only advances human knowledge but also carries a profound responsibility toward society, our shared values and future generations.
